Patti explains how grateful she is to have had a friend advocating for her health after she was diagnosed with bacterial meningitis and while dealing with a cerebrospinal fluid leak.
I do realize that people can have advocates in the hospital for them and how important that is. But when it is one of your dearest friends becomes forward to, becomes bad for you and when shes caring for you is caring for you like shes you know, your dearest friend, and your mom and your sister and all that rolled into one. I know if I could ever do that for somebody, I would because what it means to you when you are there and you are helpless and you cannot defend yourself. Basically thats what it is, defending yourself and get the care you need but when somebody comes in to do that for you. Spends the night, make sure you get what you need and talks to the doctors in your behalf. And puts you more important than anything shes doing or thinking about at that point. You are so thankful, I really know in my heart that Michelle is safe now, she did.
